Laundry Room Transformation

So here is an easy way I transformed my laundry room from a junky eye sore to a fun little corner of my house.

First of all, don't judge me for my 'before'  picture!! I know it looks junky! I got the inspiration when I saw the Devine Color wallpaper at Target. Now, don't let the term 'wallpaper' scare you! This is unlike anything our grandparents ever used. This stuff is peel and stick....Don't like where you stuck it? Peel it off and reposition it. Wanna try a new look? Peel it off in 5 minutes. It is a wonderful product! I only needed one tube to do the laundry room (but I did stop just behind the washer and dryer- I did not go all the way to the floor).

I started at the top and worked my way down. It was very easy to match the chevron stripes, but it may be a little more difficult to line up other patterns, so keep that in mind. I did not remove my shelves, so I had to cut it away around the shelves. I just used an exacto knife.

Once I finished the paper I just had to get organized! I got the plastic containers at Target too, and just used scrapbook paper and stickers to label the outside. I think the hot pink added a great splash of color in front of the black and white.

I did this project over 6 months ago, and the wallpaper is still holding strong! It has shown no signs of peeling off. I want to try doing the insides of some closets around my house too, livening up the boring spots of the house! Where would you use wallpaper in your home?
Happy Wallpapering!
