Texas Cross

One of my favorite things to craft are my wooden crosses. They have been popular all over pinterest, especially my Cross with Marbles and my Stackable Wooden Crosses posts. My latest cross is inspired by Texas and I’m excited to show you exactly how it’s made.

To make this Texas Cross, I used some wooden crosses of two different sizes, three different paint colors, some brushes, and a star. Not shown is some wood glue and carpet nails.

The bottom cross was painted white and red. I used a ruler to form a straight line. I let one color dry before painting the other.

The top cross was painted blue.

Once both crosses were completely dried I secured them together with wood glue then left it alone over night. The finishing touch was attaching the rustic star with a nail.

I love how it turned out! I can’t wait to try and make an Americana one next.

How would you customize your own cross?

These crosses are now available in our Etsy shop here.
