Now that I know what Golden Birthdays are I couldn’t resist throwing one for my hubby. He’s less decisive than I am, so planning this shindig was literally only a couple of days before the get together took place. Travis decided that he wanted to go on a Cowtown Cycle in Fort Worth for his birthday and can I say it was a BLAST even if my butt was sore for a few days afterward.
My biggest tip for this event is to have the 16 people maximum that fits on the cycle. There are 10 pedaling seats, 2 seats, a bench for 3 across the back and room for 1 bartender that will keep the libations coming and of course your Cowtown Cycle Driver that’s in charge of the break pedal and steering. We only had 10 people so we were all pedaling the entire two hour trek, having more people would allow for everyone to get a break from pedaling.
We had an awesome driver that cracked jokes and had us laughing the entire way, and we made two stops at local bars during the route. The neat thing is you can decide what you want to do, like stop at local bars, pedal the entire two hours, or see some of the sights around downtown Fort Worth.
Naturally a party wouldn’t be fun without party favors! So Cassie and I came up with the idea to give our friends coozies and make Travis an extra special shirt. Check out all of our fun pictures!
We definitely recommend you do something like this at least once!
