Bedazzled Game Day Shirts

It's Opening Day at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington, Texas!!! Have I mentioned yet that this is my favorite day of the year?? Baseball to me is America, the tailgating, the flyover, the game! I love everything about it! The best part about the Texas Rangers is my husband and I share the same passion for them, making it everything that much more fun. Beautiful right?

Today I want to share a quick craft I came up with after learning how to use a hot fix tool when I made my Bride Shorts. All I had to do was go and get a t-shirt with my favorite player, Pitcher Derek Holland is mine, on it and then put crystals on the shirt!

I bought a package of hot fix crystals from Michaels that had a variety of sizes in it so that I could decide what size crystal I wanted without having to buy a bunch of different packages. Not wanting the glue from the crystal to stick to the backside of the shirt I stuck a piece of cardboard inside the shirt. Then I placed the crystals where I wanted and turned on my hot fix gun and began to glue when it was hot enough.

A couple of tips, be careful how hard you're pushing the gun onto the crystal because you could slip and end up burning the shirt, and the tool is very hot so be careful not to burn yourself! This project took me less than 15 minutes to complete, and the result is awesome!! I love it!

The best part is that you can do this to any shirt! What would you bedazzle? {Texas Craft House} Elisabeth
