Home is Where the Anchor Drops Mat and Wreath

So a couple of weeks ago, I was out shopping with Elisabeth at Hobby Lobby for a Valentine’s Day wreath she had in mind. I didn’t need anything,` was just browsing. We were looking at ribbons, and I saw this anchor ribbon, that I knew I absolutely needed, and I needed to make a wreath out of it! Sometimes inspiration hits just that quick! I happened to find the wooden anchor at Hobby Lobby too, and of course they had the wire form wreaths too.

E’s Golden Birthday Party

A little something about my husband and me, is that we love to have parties with our closest friends. We especially love a good themed party! I turned 28 on the 28th, making it my ‘Golden Birthday’. To be completely honest, before last year I had never heard of a Golden Birthday and as soon as I learned about it I knew I had to throw a Golden Party. I asked my guests to wear anything with gold on it, and the turn out was fantastic. I wanted to share a couple of pictures from the party decor, food, and the photo booth I made, instructions on how to coming soon!

Bucket List and Retirement Party

I am a teacher at a local school. My team and I hosted a retirement party in honor of one of our team members, Karen, who will be leaving after 32 years. We are so sad to see her go but were excited to throw a celebration in her honor. We put our minds together and quickly had the perfect theme and layout planned. These table settings and decor ideas would go great with really any party, baby shower or get together.

Destination Wedding Welcome Bags – DIY

Hello Everyone!! I had my destination wedding in Jamaica in July 2012 and wanted to share all of the fun things that I crafted for the wedding and for the guests that attended. I worked really hard tying in all of the little beach themed ideas for my wedding to get the impact I wanted. I have several posts that I’ll still be adding as well as converting from the old blog. I promised myself that I will get all wedding crafts blogged this year! So today I wanted to share the Welcome Bags that I made for my guests. We were very blessed to have over 20 people paying their own way to attend our destination wedding! I wanted to be able to give them a token of my appreciation as well as something they could keep forever and remember our trip.
