Today I’m finally sharing the marquee ’28’ signs that I made for my Golden Birthday Party! I used the marquee to complete my photo booth area. To my surprise this project was actually very easy and just a little time consuming. I got the idea from Chloe Moore Photography and the pictures from Oh Happy Day helped me the most! I really love how the entire area came together especially with the fun photo booth props!
So the other night, Hubby was playing with our cat, Tobias, when the worst happened. They knocked over a burning candle all over my new couch! There was wax all over it, needless to say, I was extremely upset and never thought the wax would come out. I started to search ways to get wax out of furniture and found several different ideas. I figured what could it hurt to try some of these. The very first how-to I used worked, Here! All you will need is a paper bag and an iron!
I have the best tutorial today! I’ve always struggled with making bows. No matter what I did and no matter how many videos I watched, I could never master the hand movements and the twisting and the turning of the ribbon to make it look “just right.” Until today.
Today I want to share a gift that I made for one of our couple friends that got married a few years ago. I found this idea on Pinterest here. Let me just start by saying that this craft was a lot easier than I expected it to be!! I etched their last name into the glass for a practical casserole dish they could take to parties and ensure they would get back.
