Are you looking for a gift for that hard to buy for guy? Look no further. My husband loved the first bouquet I made in my original post the man bouquet . This time I thought I’d follow it up with another version by using a beer mug instead of a flower pot. It looks even better!
My sister in law and her husband built a home out in the country in Paradise… no, that’s what their town is called… Paradise. We went to see their new house last night and it is gorgeous… lots of land, trees, and a brand new custom home. I surprised her with a house warming gift – a Home Depot bucket filled with all kinds of new home goodies.
Today I want to share a gift that I made for one of our couple friends that got married a few years ago. I found this idea on Pinterest here. Let me just start by saying that this craft was a lot easier than I expected it to be!! I etched their last name into the glass for a practical casserole dish they could take to parties and ensure they would get back.
It is pouring rain here and what better weather for a craft night? You’re warm and cozy inside. No better way to spend an evening.
I have seen adorable burned wooden spoons all over Pinterest and Etsy and knew I had to try them out for myself. I had the materials saved up for a rainy day anyway so figured I’d try it out tonight. I had purchased the wooden spoons at Wal-Mart for $.88 (what a bargain when you are trying out a new craft) and pulled out a soldering iron I had previously bought. These irons are around $10 at most major retailers or hardware stores.
