My husband and I love to cook. I’m obsessed with food and trying new foods, ingredients and recipes. A couple weeks ago one of my coworkers, Amy, was sharing one of her favorite go-to recipes… stuffed mini sweet peppers. She let me try a sample and I was immediately hooked. Healthier Reduced Fat Oatmeal Raisin Cookies

Last year I was given a box of homemade oatmeal raisin cookies as a gift. These cookies were the softest, sweetest and most flavorful than any kind I had every had. When I was told that they were healthier and reduced fat I was completely shocked. She shared the recipe with me and I’ve been using it to make these delicious cookies for gifts, luncheons and my go-to dessert treat ever since. I can’t wait to share this recipe today.

Pommosa made with Champagne and Pomegranate Juice

Hey y’all! Cassie and I have taken the next step and created our new and improved blog. After much dilberation, we decided with a new year we needed a new and improved us. To celebrate Cassie and I want to share a drink she created called the Pommosa. Obviously this is similar to a mimosa but this version is pomegranate juice and champagne.
